Career Crisis Management Services

Are you in a career or job situation that is causing you an abnormal amount of stress?  Has it perhaps reached the point where you are worried about the effect on your health or have already developed a stress-related health problem?  Are you finding it hard to function and perform at a professional level?  Are you doing everything you can think of to try and resolve the situation, but aren't being successful?  Have the issues in your professional life spilled over into your personal life, perhaps threatening the stability of relationships you value?  Is your sense of your own competence eroding and have you lost confidence in your ability to find a solution?

If you answered "Yes" to some or all of the above questions, then it might be time for you to get some objective insight and guidance from an experienced professional who can help you regain control of your work life.

As a coach and counselor, I can help you:

Objectively analyze your situation.  One of the first casualties of a stressful situation is the loss of our ability to calmly assess what is really happening to us and why.  What's needed is help from someone who is not emotionally involved who will listen carefully and probe beneath the surface to get a complete and accurate picture.

Identify workable options
An unfortunate effect of a crisis is that we often conclude that we have only limited or negative options at our disposal.  In fact,  there are often options that will not only resolve the crisis, but leave us in even a better position than previously imagined possible.  Identifying these options is a primary task in the counseling and coaching process I use.

Implement a plan
The entire focus of the coaching process is to enable you to regain control of your life and happiness by taking action to change what isn't working.  As a coach, I can't take these actions for you, but I can and do function as a guide, sounding board, brainstorming resource and cheerleader.  Of course, an additional benefit is that I've been through many career crises with my clients and the experience gained from their journeys is available to you through me.
I offer a free 30 minute telephone session to help you get started toward solving your career challenges - such as getting what you really want. The session is an opportunity for you to talk with a professional counselor and coach about what you want from your career or job and to get some initial feedback on what some solutions might be. It is also gives you the chance to experience my counseling style to see if I'm someone you'd like to have help you.
